- Vehicle towed-in in no crank condition with discharged battery. Found loss of charging due to failed alternator. Engine management DTC P1574 for interruption of vehicle speed signal, and transmission control DTC P0726 for issue with engine speed information, believed to be related to loss of electrical power supply. Battery is older. Drive belt okay. – – – Charge and test battery, Replace alternator, reuse drive belt. Road test and recheck for customer's concern/symptom of gradual loss of power with engine running.
