- The injector code was set on October 18th while at highway speeds at operating temperature. A weak injector will commonly fail under high temperature. In this scenario, the injector for cylinder 1 is likely beginning to fail internally or has a weak connection that only manifests once heat causes expansion in the metal and wiring. Customer approved disassembly to find the point of failure. With the components removed to access the injectors we could confirm only injector on cylinder 1 and the wire harness to all injectors needed to be replaced. With the repairs completed the vehicle was test driven and no further issues were found. No other repairs recommended.
