- The check engine light is on due to multiple diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the vehicle’s computer. The primary issue affecting engine performance is related to DTCs 2892, 27D2, and 2745, which all point to a failure in the ignition coil for cylinder #6. This malfunction is causing the engine to run rough. While all the ignition coils appear to have been replaced in November 2021, the #6 coil has failed and needs to be replaced to restore smooth engine operation. Unfortunately, the prior coil replacements are now outside the shop’s 2-year/24,000-mile warranty period. Replacing the faulty coil will clear the related DTCs and resolve the rough running condition. Additionally, DTCs 27C3 and 2774 are linked to an issue with the thermal oil level sensor. This fault was noted during a previous visit and is causing system alerts. The oil level sensor will need replacement during next oil service.
