    • ALTERNATOR DRIVE BELT – Remove & Replace – 2.5i,Outback Sport – [Includes: Serpentine and V-Belt type Belt(s).]
    • Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
    • Hazardous Waste Disposal Fee
    • Road test for power steering operation. Inspect system for leaks. Flush power steering lines, pump, rack and pinion, and or gear box. Install new power steering fluid. Install power steering additive to revitalize seals. Road test vehicle.
    • Hazardous Waste Disposal Fee
    • Clean gum and soft carbon deposits from fuel delivery components, inside combustion chamber, and the air intake. Road test vehicle. Additive poured into the fuel tank. It's recommended to fill the gas tank all the way full and drive until the gas light comes on to run the additive through at the correct concentration.
    • While running the air induction service, the radiator started heavily leaking coolant at the top where the plastic tank joins the metal fins. The air induction service doesn't touch the cooling system, but it wasn't leaking like this prior to running the service. Agreed to cover half the normal cost to replace the radiator due to its age.

RETRIEVED ENGINE MANAGEMENT DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES P0011 & P0021, FOR "A" CAMSHAFT POSITION PERFORMANCE, BANK 1 & BANK 2, RESPECTIVELY. ENGINE OIL LEVEL AND CONDITION OKAY. REMOVED AVCS OIL SUPPLY LINE BANJO BOLTS ON BOTH HEADS TO INSPECT AND POSSIBLY CLEAN OIL FILTER/STRAINERS BUILT INTO THEM, BUT FOUND THE SCREENS ALREADY PREVIOUSLY REMOVED, AS PER SUBARU TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 02-97-05. CLEANED AVCS OIL INPUTS WITH COMPRESSED AIR AND REASSEMBLED. COMPLETED OIL CHANGE AND OTHER MAINTENANCE, AND THEN ROAD TESTED FOR TOTAL OF ABOUT 10 MILES, ON FREEWAY AND CITY STREETS, STARTING WITH COLD ENGINE, IN THREE RUSHED DRIVE CYCLES, WHILE OBSERVING CAM TIMING WITH SCAN TOOL – CAM TIMING ADJUSTMENTS WERE WORKING CORRECTLY NOW, AND NO DTC REAPPEARED.
