Services Performed
- Engine oil level and condition okay. Unable to duplicate concern with fully warmed engine on 3 mile road test, on very steep streets (3600 block of State St and Columbia St), ascending and descending, as well as during exaggerated acceleration and braking (even on steep streets), and cornering. Oil pan was removed in October to replace the RTV gasket due to leaks. There are no leaks now but there is a concern some of the RTV cracked off inside getting stuck in the oil pickup tube. Oil pan was removed again to check to see if there was any debris inside and none was found. The gasket was covered under warranty. If the oil light persists it's believed to be an electrical issue and not for a mechanical fault.
- [W] DIAGNOSIS
- The light was found to be working normally. The light for the passenger seatbelt was on the center dash separate from the light for the driver seatbelt.
